i don’t really know why, but i love aprons! i wish that i could say that i wear them when i cook, but i usually forget to put one on and i should, i’m a really messy cook. i guess you could say that mine are more for show than purpose as i have them hanging up in my kitchen. anthropologie always has the cutest aprons… which i love to give {and get} as gifts.
i got my very first apron at our engagement party. my in-laws through us a fun little party where i was dressed as a ‘domestic goddess’ with a super cute apron, boa and tiara, while chris was dressed in a jail uniform with a ball and chain around his foot. i love that apron and so does chris, as he tends to put it on to grill at every family function…

I love aprons too! I’ve probably got 4 or 5… never wear them but I love having them! The vintage ones are the best.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, me some aprons. Funny thing I started making one similar style as the vintage one you posted, but have not been able to finish. Can’t wait to see yours!
